Dumb! Sonic! Deus!

AGAIN.

Dumb! Sonic!

Dumb sonic runs like an idiot, yea.

Faces

I haven't been working with enough realistic faces lately anymore so...there you go.

Pewpew!

I think I drew the chair all wrong but ooooh welllll.

Fun With a (Colored) Pencil

Here's today's "daily" draw (I LIE...I finished this last night...).  Have picked up traditional mediums a bit again and been sketching a lot with pencils and markers.  Should have more soon!

Tiger

Today's "daily" draw; inspired by the ever-talented bird and his gorgeous lines.

Cute Animals

I could seriously draw these all day.  Just some quick work this morning.

Comic Today

Ugh.  Sorry this is turning into something more like "Draw Every-Other Day...When You Feel Like It".

But anyways, some Little Jessica Adventures.  Click to expand!

Pink

So the lovely ladies over at GirlsDrawinGirls have "manga heroines" as their weekly theme going on now.  Of course I cannot pass up an inspiring push to draft one of the baddest bad-asses of Japanese femme fatales.  Battle Angel was a huge influence on me when I was a teenager, and really still is today.  Alas - I am not a member of GDG, but I will post my hawt girl here anyways.

If you've never picked up a book from this series I highly suggest, nay, PLEAD with you that you do - even if you're not a fan of anime or manga.

Moar Old Game Throwback

Woah.  Did I just draw Zoombinis?  Woah, man.

Grass Green I Hate that Color...

Welp, this was supposed to be a daily-draw post for Monday but, well as you can see, I got a little carried away.  I ended up having to do more of a collage effect for the sky because I was starting to go a little bonkers.

Reference-getters for this one will be awarded one (1) Internets and a status on my list of Cool People Who Like Old Geeky Games Like Myself.

Summer in the city

Ha...I wish...it was 65 this morning.  WTF.

Silly Doodlez

Boxer girls and attempts at Bruce Lee.

Green

Ackthp...I left one of my sketchbooks at home I've been drawing in recently (AND my drive...I feel nekkid)...wanted to scan them for this post but...looks like I'll have to later -_-

Purple

Ok, so I'm trying to complete a drawing a day again for myself.  Not doing so well record-wise, but I have more...

Blue

Ho boi guess what I'm trying to do again...

Scribbuls

I made a drawing.  I liek orange.

Art Dump, March

Daily Draw February finished spectacularly!  Well, more exhaustingly for me, I barely got finished with it.  But I pulled through all 28 days, and was very glad for a break from it and just leave drawing to work right now, which I'm doing a lot of.  There were over 100 people that started DDF off, and 33 finished a piece every day before midnight deadlines!  That's like, the amount of entire Daily Drawing challenges in the past.  Here are some stellar selections from the jam: http://www.satellitesoda.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=41&t=5064

Been going through some random drawings of mine and wanted to share a few that I liked.  Mostly simple stuff, but things I liked that I've done recently at various times for practice or doodling.

Working on this off and on; some materials rendering practice. I referenced related materials but didn't use any eyedropper tool for color. Still working on "beech" and "brushed steel". Each sphere only affects those in its row, no columns, just to keep things simple but still show reflectivity and refraction.

Some composition practice. I have Hans Bacher to thank for all the info on his awesome blog, and his book picking my brain.

Draw a Day still Underway

Ehhhhh so for the time being, and until I can submerge myself back into HTML editing without getting eyestrain I'm defaulting to a different blog template for now.  Thanks to those who offered tips, I just gotta dig around where all the values are for proper layout...

Also BACK TO ANIMATION SOON...I promise.  Well I promised myself so I've got to set my time aside wisely, but I'm gonna be switching my catch-up personal stuff around since this month is so short.  For now here's some more drawings/paintings (all digital here) for the going-ons over at Satellite Soda this month:

^ I did this one with my opposite hand for shits n giggles and because I am a jerk.

A Wee Delay but Still Tons o' Stuffs

Ok ok, so I'm a little behind with my personal animation, but that should be gearing up again in a short while. In the meantime I started a Monthly Draw-A-Day Challenge that I haven't taken part in for some years now with a fantastic gang over at SatelliteSoda.com. Here's my first entries so far...the rest of the month to go!

Day 1

Day 2

Day 3

Also, if anyone has any tips on how to reformat a blog so posts and images arn't chopped in half (like you're probably seeing now), any help is appreciated!  I'm going a little crazy trying to fix this...
